How To Keep A Man From Cheating
Do you suspect your guy is cheating on you? Are you obsessed with the thoughts of his infidelity? Do you want to do everything you can to assure he remains faithful to you? Talk to any guy who is in a great and devoted relationship and you’ll see the same points coming up.
1. Don’t let it get old. Sometimes we just sink into that same old routine. Nothing new happens; nothing exciting. We get home from work, dinner, TV and bed. The next day we start the same old thing again. Relationships are a constant work in progress. Sitting back and thinking that everything will just work out on its own can be disastrous.
2. Remind him why he’s your man. Thank him for the great little things he does for you, (even if he does forget to do other things). Show your appreciation for the great man he is (even if he sometimes makes mistakes). Let him know you admire the many qualities he has (even if he has just as many faults). Men consistently complain about the degree of nagging and all around negativity that spews from their mates.
3. Let him know you love him. Not in that practiced overused and automatic ‘I love you’, but with your actions. Do little things to remind him that he matters to you. Show your concern for him when things are going wrong and let him know he can always talk to you.
4. Let him show weakness. Men to a large extent want to be the hero, the big guy, the muscle and the strength. However there can be times in a man’s life when he needs to know he can have a moment of weakness without you thinking less of him. The pressure to always be the big strong man can become overwhelming. If he knows he can breathe a bit, he’ll appreciate your support and will be all the stronger for it in the end.
Many things lead a man to cheat, but they all revolve around the same notion; how he feels as a man. If he’s that important to you, if he’s fidelity is that important, don’t take him or the relationship for granted. Continue to work to keep the relationship fresh, his ego healthy and your love strong.
