Many singles I know are looking for online dating advice. Recently several of us got together to and came up with the following online dating advice nuggets:
# Learn all you can by reading online dating advice articles how to actually use an online dating service. Like anything else, you have to put some effort in online dating if you want results.
# Have a dating goal in mind. Are you dating just for fun, or to you have plans for marriage? If you aim for nothing you will hit it.
# Learn how to keep safe. You can get great online dating advice in this area by googling the words ‘online dating safety tips.
# Learn the ins and outs of how to write an online dating profile, along with how to take attractive photos of yourself for the online dating services.
# Be patient and persistent. You may nor find your ideal soul mate on the first date, but who knows what will happen on the next?
# Keep some perspective. Many singles become addicted to online dating services. Not you. Instead maintain balance by limiting yourself on how many hours a week you will spend on line.
# Don’t forget there are other ways to meet singles, including singles groups, churches and other off line singles events.
# Finally, make sure to have fun in the process of finding your online dating mate.
If you remember to put the following online dating advice tips in practice, you will have a much more enjoyable dating life. We promise!

Every man on the planet should know how to approach women or girls. If you don’t, you are missing out on the first step for finding the girl of your dreams and maybe your mate for life. The way you approach a girl can make or break the your chances of having a date or simply just buying her a drink. Hopefully I’ll give you an idea or two on how to approach that certain someone special. I’ve had 20+ years on the dating scene, not to mention a great marriage to a beautiful woman. Yes we are still married after 19 years.I’m no Romeo or Brad Pitt or what ever, but I know how to play the game. And it is a game. I’ve seen guys fail and succeed. It all comes down to the way the game is played. And if you get married and have kids you still have to play the game. It’s kinda like working out with weights, when you stop….the results stop! Same thing. I am convinced that is why 80 percent of marriages fail, the game stops. My game stopped after 6 years of marriage and divorced was filed at the big number 7. I did get back in before it was final and never looked back. I got back into the game.
Enough of that, let’s see how to approach a woman and/or girl -
Ok, Girls are used to getting approached, fact. Picture every other guy in the bar “If that’s the case” as white horses” You have to become the one and only black horse in the crowd. You must stand out. I’ve had 10 times more luck in “Bars” if I did not drink alcohol. I would drink water and chew gum. Sounds kinda dumb, but it put me in the right mind set. Give it a try.
Here’s a few short tips on approaching women. Remember guys, they’re not monsters…they won’t hurt you. “Well some will!”
First - Be confident when you approach them. But not too cocky! They can sense fear.
Second - Try to make good eye contact, but don’t stare them down. (And their Blouse is not their eyes!))
Third – Smile. Girls can’t resist a great smile and it gives off positive energy. If you don’t have a great smile, smile with your mouth shut, but smile- A lot.
Approaching women is not hard when you know what to do.

The internet has changed the world of dating and relationship both good and bad. Finding romance is now easier than ever. That’s the good news. The bad news, of course, is that with ease also comes an increase in falling prey to dangerous situations. However, the dangers can be lessened or avoided by following some basic safety dating tips. Here are 10 such safety dating tips which can help make your online dating experience fun, positive and, above all, safe.1) Stick with reputable online dating services. Don’t go with a service you’ve never heard of just because it’s free or cheap. Check to see how well they screen their potential members. A dating service which screens their members is often safer than those which don’t.
2) Account Setup. Set up an email account that you use only for dating services or chatting online such as Hotmail, Yahoo, or Gmail. Never use your personal or work email for online dating.
3) Personal Contact. Until you really get to know the person, never divulge personal information that will make it possible for someone to locate you.
4) Communication. You should immediately cease communication with people who seem obsessed with acquiring personal information about you.
5) Be aware when talking to any potential date of the following danger signs: getting angry for no apparent reason; possessiveness; elusiveness in answering direct questions; inconsistencies in information about themselves; disrespectful remarks; request for any financial information from you. These could all be potential red flags.
6) Take it slow before you agree to meet the other person. Have several conversations on the phone with the potential date so you can detect any of the above warning signs before you agree to meet face to face. If the other person tries to push you into a meeting too quickly, you might consider moving on.
7) Don’t give your home phone number at first. When calling the person either call from a pay phone away from your neighborhood or block your number when calling.
When agreeing to meet for the first time, agree to meet in a public place with plenty of people around. Never invite a stranger into your home or to pick you up from your home. Always tell a friend or family member of your first meeting plans. You may also ask someone to call you while you’re on your first meeting/date to check up on you.9) Limit the amount of alcohol you have on your first face-to-face meeting. Alcohol can lower your inhibitions and alter your judgment. In addition, no matter what you’re drinking, don’t ever leave your drink unattended during the date.
10) Trust your instincts. If something doesn’t feel right about the person or situation, end the communication or date immediately. You owe no one an explanation when it concerns your safety.
You may think all the above precautions take all the fun out of online dating. However, there’s nothing fun about getting tangled up with a dangerous person. Following basic safety precautions just helps insure that the wonderful person you’re seeking is the wonderful person you end up with.
